Yeah, the Republicans at the State Capitol have to stand up for the profit interests of the liquor store owners. Who knows how many millions of their profits would be wiped out of convenience stores could start selling wine. It would already be bad enough for them, if it was just limited to grocery stores.

Hopefully, we can bypass the legislators, provided some organization can get its act together and launch an adequately financed petition process next year, so we can vote yes on enabling grocery stores to sell wine in grocery stores in Nov. of 2014. I do and I am still not impressed. I have tasted many wines rated that high that tasted like vinegar. Drink what you like not what some rating dolt says.

I absolutely agree with you. It might be fun to splurge occasionally on a very expensive bottle of wine. But there are many very good options for much more reasonable prices.
