Construction on May south of NW 10th.

Does anybody know what in the world they are working on on May south of NW 10th street??? That is one of the nicest roads near the downtown area, and I can't quite seem to think of what they could possibly need to repair. It certainly doesn't help that this is my path to 74 highway. Any thoughts??

I think it has something to do with fairgrounds improvements. I got an email from City Arts Center about it but don't remember if it said what they were doing.
