Thread: Hip-Hoppers Arrested in OKC

2 Chainz is also a convicted felon, and is currently under other felony charges which are pending. He's also gotten in trouble for weapons before (carrying brass knuckles - illegal to own - into an airport - doubly illegal). I imagine there are some problems especially if it turns out the guns were his.

Yes you can. Its legal for me with out a CC to have a pistol in plain view on my passenger seat as long as.its unloaded.
Baracade..that's why the cops had to.get a warrent, which means it wasillegal with out court permission to demand/ or force their way onto the bus.

    Go read the law Jerry.

I notice how you keep dancing on the periphery, and avoiding the main issues. You seem very personally invested in painting a convicted felon, with multiple outstanding felony charges in place, with multiple drug arrests and controlled substance arrests, and illegal weapon arrests, as a boy scout. So what's your motive here?

I was going to say that maybe when push came to shove for 2 Chainz vis-a-vis the OKC stop
he could do a hip hop version of a Johnny Cash classic . . . but someone beat him to the rap.

    I don't know, am I?

I get so confused by stupid questions from people who can't read and comphrehend post. Check 72 for my motivation.

No thanks. You should go to bed before you embarrass yourself further. Any pretense you have of the actual truth is out the window. And I'm not the only one here seeing it.

So you go to bed... "William". I'll be here all night.

And how many times will you edit the same posts? At least have the guts to leave the edit notes in.

Pennsylvania v. Mimms - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The fact is that even as a white man, if I get pulled over by a policeman and he smells drugs or whatever.. I can refuse the search, but he'll still arrest me. Just like I can refuse a breathalyzer or a DUI check if the officer smells alcohol on my breath. I can refuse, and I'll be arrested. That's not a race issue.

But one difference, I'm not a convicted felon with guns and drugs in my possession.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court saw no problem in the actions that involved pulling the car over, and were even to go as far as to say that due to the observation of the bulge under the respondent’s coat, the search was permissible. However the fact that the officer asked the defendant to exit the vehicle created a forbidden “seizure.” The officer was not able to identify the bulge in order to be suspect any criminal activity afoot if the suspect remained in the vehicle. Because that the gun was discovered by the unconstitutional action, the revolver should have been suppressed

And then the Supreme Court overruled Pennsylvania's Supreme Court, and upheld the firearms conviction.

And Barry Switzer took a loaded gun to the airport yet I don't hear anyone calling him a thug.

That's only because folks are still reeling from his extraordinary courage and humanitarianism involved in rescuing/stealing that abused puppy. When the awe wears off, someone is bound to use the "t-word" in regard to Barry S.

And he got found guilty. Major fine, plus tons of community service. Plus another much, much larger fine from his employer. So what's your point? It's evidently not a white or black thing, unless there's something about Switzer I didn't know.

The point is is that you use it to call 2Chainz a thug yet you probably wouldn't dare call Switzer that. I suspect it comes from the fact that you don't like the way 2 Chainz looks or the sound of his music. Much like people calling Trayvon Martin a thug yet ignoring Zimmerman's domestic disputes, DUI and other run ins with the law.

Where did I call him a thug? I see you and William using the "thug" word. So who has the problem here?

While not directly about 2 Chainz, I don't think I ever heard anything about Barry breaking a woman's jaw. Someone on that bus could certainly be defined as a thug.

Isn't "Posse" the preferred term? Or is that now passé?
Maybe the thug just came down with a case of "on-tour-rage"?

We can relax now since this case has been settled.

Rapper 2 Chainz pays $771 to end misdemeanor case over 2013 arrest | NewsOK.com

His arrest in Oklahoma City after a 2013 traffic stop resulted in more national notoriety for rapper 2 Chainz, who later apologized on MTV and vowed to go “cold turkey on all criminal activities.”
The rapper — whose real name is Tauheed Epps — pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor, obstructing a police officer in the performance of his official duties. He paid a fine, a victims’ compensation assessment and other costs totaling $771, records show.
No one was charged with marijuana possession even though police reported finding marijuana residue during the bus search.

“In the end, we didn’t find much of it,” a prosecutor said in December 2013. “What we did find wasn’t in any location where we could show knowledge on anyone’s part.”
