Did anyone catch this on Dateline on Friday?

I recorded it based on a Facebook post by The Mustang Times newspaper that stated only that the NBC Dateline show that night included a segment titled "Mystery in Mustang". 10 minutes of it was all we watched. There never was any Mystery about the murder. NBC plainly tried to gin up something that wasn't there.

The only mystery is why she didn't get the death penalty.

And spend 20 years on appeals? Same end result: she'll die in prison, but with a lot less drama. I think that might be a better punishment.

Was it sought by the DA? If not, then it wasn't on their menu.

IIRC, State did not put it in play.
