Hi, I own a company called Main Street Bids. The company allows property owners to submit information about their property and receive competitive bids from real estate agents to list and sell the property. We were recently featured in the Oklahoma Journal Record.

I am posting here in an attempt to spread the information about this service. There is NO charge to the property owner -- it's ABSOLUTELY, GUARANTEED free of charge to the property owner. The property owner remains anonymous so he/she is not bombarded by sales calls from real estate agents.

Even though we've only been in business for several weeks, we've already established that our service is saving property owners approximately $1100 in commissions paid to real estate agents.

MainStreet, when viewing the Property page, the graphics make viewing the listings extremely difficult ( looks like a fade in and out feature).

Just thought you might want to check into that...

I agree with Karried.

As an amateur website designer, we've had some issues with using server-side applications (such as .asp) with .swf files (Flash). This is due to some feuding between Microsoft and Adobe/Macromedia and would be a thread all by itself.

I've got a workhorse computer and cable modem, and your Properties page was sluggish. People with older graphic cards and dial up would likely give up before perusing your site fully.
