Jean Stapleton, TV's Edith Bunker, dies at 90

She created one of my all-time favorite television characters and was a very talented actress in her many other roles.

"Archie" (Carroll O'Connor) died a few years back but "Edith" just kind of dropped out of public view. Looks like one of her last acting roles was in "January 1998, Stapleton guest-starred on the Jean Smart sitcom, Style & Substance in the episode "A Recipe for Disaster", playing a former television chef who has an alcohol problem."
