Basketball Fan with the Hat

There is a guy that attends NBA games all over the country including Thunder games. I think he is a Lakers fan and lives in California. He looks to be in his 60's or 70's and always wears a leather hat. He usually sits on the front row with an attractive women. He was at the last game in Houston and the Thunder game on Sunday. I have seen him in Bricktown a couple of times including Sunday evening with a younger guy and yes, an attractive women. I heard someone talking about him on WWLS about a year ago but I missed a lot of information. Who is this guy and what is his story? I gather he is extemely wealthy and is quite eccentric.

He is considered the number 1 NBA fan. He makes a point to make as many playoff games as possible.

BTW, he carries the Lakers and Clippers season tickets, but he does not like the Lakers, just likes to watch basketball. His dad worked for the Milwaukee Bucks organization, and he had a job at 15 years old as a stats man for them, which as he says is how he got hooked on the NBA. He ended up in California by going to Stanford, and as rumor has it, made a fortune by investing in trailer parks and other real estate in southern California in the 60's.

I think he tweeted during the Rockets series that OKC was his favorite place to watch an NBA game. If you'll notice, he never wears the play-off shirts that are placed on every seat. I think he said that the reason he doesn't wear them is because he doesn't want to be seen as favoring any particular team.
