We live about a mile to the southeast of one. With a north breeze, the smell can be kinda bad, but it doesn't always smell with a north wind (strange). I still think it is far better than living to the north of one of those though. The treatment plant near our house is undergoing renovations to replace the air scrubbers, so I'm hoping that that that helps. I think with the proper technology, these plants can keep the smell down, but the problem is that the areas are growing so fast that they can't handle all the extra crap.

Maybe they just went with those street names in their initial/tentative plans. Maybe they've already paid fees to the league and franchise to use those names. Whatever their case may be, I think it'd be weird living on someone's chest or groin area...

I can tell you, the folks that live in that area are PI**ED over this. Especially the residents of Red bud Canyon. But it plays directly into the need for another highschool. That's your city council at work.

Is the fix in to change the name of Harden Lane to something else?
Perhaps something along the lines of Harden Boulevard? Parkway?

Maybe the Pissed Off Peeps of Red Bud Canyon need to get the EPA involved on account of that drainage deal and protected wildlife that exist within the natural boundaries of the proposed development. I'd bet there are at least a couple of sequestered govt. lawyers who would find this much more interesting than attempting to enforce bogus EPA directives regarding "lead paint 'hazards'" to "the environment" . . .

My grandpa told me that there was an ancient Native-American burial site at the proposed location.
The ancient Native-American's name (translated) was Eagle Flies High With Common Sense.
Maybe National Geographic Archeologists could demand a chance to check this out . . .

There will be no Durant Drive, Rumble Lane, Westbrook Pass or Collison Court in Thunder Canyon, Edmond's new housing development on the east side of the city.

looks like they are not using the names ... but i think it would be very hard to argue that the names of the streets adds any value to a neighborhood
