Fantastic pictures and write-up. Really gives a good sense of the restaurant.

Ate there once with my son and loved it. (I am a bit partial since he works there as a busser though.) Even the cheeseburger I tried was better than expected and his meatloaf was awesome. The potato chip appetizer was pretty good too.

I like Lottenvilles, but it somehow never comes on our radar anymore. We used to frequent the old location, however, since they've moved, even though it's just down the street, we never go there now.

It's been a few years but it was excellent then.

I did go to a wedding reception at Lottinvilles last year. It was beautiful, and the food was all wonderful.

My family went to the Sunday brunch about a year and a half ago and weren't that impressed. However, the company I work for had had a holiday lunch there and the food was excellent and the waitstaff top notch.

    Is Lottenvilles closing?
Their building is for sale for $1.4million

Sounds like they are definitely closed.

    From the property flyer:

Situated at the entrance to Signal Ridge Development off Kelly, this building can either be purchased as a restaurant
with fully equipped kitchen and a full service bar or converted to an office building. The Interior has beautiful tapestry
ceilings with an open air feel. Located 1 mile west of Broadway Extension and south of the intersection of Kelly Avenue
    and W. 15th Street.
It also says the kitchen equipment is being sold separately.

Not surprised here; they had poor management and when they moved, they moved into a space that was occupied by another failed restaurant, Cascata.

This is very disappointing IF it's true.
Their food was really good, and they were consistently nominated for Best of OKC awards!
Even has an 80% favorable rating on Urban Spoon.

Ah, yes, Cascata. Was trying to remember the name of the Italian place there before Lottinvilles.

Id probably say that location was certainly a factor in both restaurants demise. Just doesnt seem like an ideal location for a Lottinvilles/Cascata type of restaurant.

Any time we were there, we felt rushed. It was never enjoyable.

I liked them more in the old location. Their sourdough chicken fried steak was really good.

Just called and Lottinvilles said they are still open, not sure what is going on.

Drove by there tonight - they have not closed.

They are reducing staff. Not sure if reduced hours or closure might be in the future. It is probably not a good sign the building is up for sale though.

Went to the old, original, location of Lottinvilles--that looked sort of like a log cabin--for some sort of brunch/Mother's Day deal/etc./whatever down on Kelley or Santa Fe or whatever/whenever about 20+ years ago. Nobody complained too much. I guess the "Mimosas" or whatever took the edge off the urge to nitpick. The actual food was OK but not memorable. At least not memorable enough to describe--beyond "wood fired" . . . =)

Later, I met, in passing, the former head chef of Cascata--that was something else/another "upscale trough"(french/vietnamese) before it was Cascata--and he said that (based upon the culinary appreciation of the clientele he had to deal with) the wave of the future would be microwavable duck confit (which actually sounds better to me than some of the raw sea urchin).

After Cascata closed, Lottinvilles apparently thought moving into a twice failed restaurant location building was a good idea.

I guess this spot is the Edmond equivalent of Kansas City Blues BBQ/etc . . . etc/ Custino's on Britton Rd.
