My gf and I decided to do a progressive dinner last night and have dinner at this new Mexican establishment. The food seemed to be more of an authentic Mexican food. We just had dessert though, although the server brought us chips and salsa. I told her we were just ordering dessert and wouldn't be needing it but she didn't speak a lick of English. After our semi-English speaking waiter came by. We I ordered the Fried Ice-Cream $2 and my date had the Sopapilla w/ icecream and Guayaba. Guayaba is a Latin fruit similar to a pear. They made it into sort of a fruit topping. Prices seemed very reasonable. 6-8 dollars for most meals and all desserts were $2 or less.
