I've seen pictures of the tower completely lit in green and in purple on Instagram.
I've seen pictures of the tower completely lit in green and in purple on Instagram.
My understanding is that they are still finishing the lighting hardware install and will get to serious final programming around mid-August.
why hasnt anybody posted pictures yet, seriously? If they are on instagram put them here.
I really like it lit in purple.
This is from a few days ago; looks like they were down to one set of windows on the west side:

Found this one on my computer from a long time ago. Fun to look back.

Great photos catch22. I have never seen a passenger wide body at Will Rogers. Was the AA 777 a charter?
Sheridan Avenue is now completely open in front of the complex. I drove and my wife took some pictures through the open convertible:
Here's one from Harvey Avenue just across from the Myriad Gardens:
I saw the maintenance crane hovering around the glass that was damaged on the East side this evening. Maybe it'll be fixed this week.
I see Project 180 is working. I can't tell you the last time I saw a picture of downtown OKC street that showed any kind of human existance. It always looked like the 'after' scene in the plague movies.
I was at the Devon building last week having lunch, and it was cool to see all the life outside around the building and across the street in the Gardens. There were guys in the park playing some kind of sport, soccer maybe (couldn't tell what exactly, just saw some running etc), people walking around, eating lunch both at outside the building and in the park, school groups walking through the park, families playing with their kids. It was cool.
Just wait until the Colcord work is finally finished and the Flint patio opens and they wrap up the P180 mess on Robinson and Hudson and Main and around the Civic Center and the SandRidge buildings are all finished and they open the MG restaurant and Vast...
There is WAY more life downtown that just two years ago and we are just getting started.
From Flickr:
Is the restaurant open yet? Any internal pix to post?
Vast (restaurant at the top) does not open until October.
I love that first picture. It took me a while to get oriented. That is not a view that has existed very long.
Very very true. Thanks. Looked way better on my phone but I guess that's because of the AMOLED display!
Wow! The picture with the new arena addition looks fantastic!
I haven't been down there in a long time. The view without I-40 looks like a different city. Haven't seen how far along the arena is either. I got really burnt out on it having done so much over the past two years. I might pick it back up when it cools down.
