Land West of Wiley Post Airport

About a quarter mile north of 50th I notice what looks to be a great spot for a nice shady park(perferably disc golf) is there anyway to find out if the city, county, or airport owns that land??


If you can't tell I am a disc golf fan and the city needs more of them we can install them on forested lands will very minimal damage to it.

If you mean the trees along the west side of council, it may have been acquired by the city (or the OKC water utilities trust) as part of building the canal just behind those trees which fills Lake Hefner. If you mean the wooded area a half mile west of council that is a wildlife refuge.

I wonder who I would talk to if I wanted to fund a park there??

There really aren't a huge number of trees along the west side of council but you don't need trees for dusc golf. There are actually already a couple of parks in that area. McMillan Park is south of 50th on the west side of Council and there is a fairly large private park connected to Riverbend Estates further north.
