Default Don't be afraid to post

As of today, 11-19-04, we have 235 registered members on this forum. First of all, let me say "Thanks" to all of those that have registered. Second, I urge all of you, especially some of the newer members, to feel comfortable posting.

Whether it is a paragraph that you want to post, or just a one liner, please feel free to jump right in and express your opinions. Yes, there will be times that somebody will disagree with you on certain topics and issues, however, we respect all opinions, and we agree to disagree in a respectful manner.

If a poster posts something on a thread that is out of line with the rules of this forum, then it will be taken care of. That's why we have an administrator (Todd), and three moderators (myself, Patrick, and DarlingDiva), to keep tabs on what is being posted.

If there is a problem, feel free to PM (private message) any of the moderator's or the administrator, and we will address whatever issue it may be.

We want you to feel right at home on this forum....kind of like when you go home, get in to your recliner, kick your shoes off, unbutton the top button of your jeans (so that you can breathe ), get a nice cold drink and your remote control, and reeeeeeeeeelax. That's how we want you to feel here.

I would really like to see some of the newer members come out and start posting. Also, don't forget about the FREE upgrade offers that give you the opportunity to be a sponsor on this forum. There are some great benefits to being a sponsor, so you might want to check it out.

Again, make yourself at home and have some fun.

I echo what Keith says. This place has the opportunity to be something very, very cool.

Amen to what these guys said. I know we all seem like pretty scary people (I'm the scariest), but the debates that go on here are a lot of fun. Sure, you won't agree with everything that's said here, but that's what makes it fun! Of course any debate can get heated at times, so we ask that you think before you post, but by all means feel free to jump in and post. The largest forum here is probably the OKC and Surrounding Area forum where we talk about local issues like Bricktown development, city-wide development, and the renaissance of Oklahoma City. But of course, as you know, there are tons of other forums here to.

By the way, if you want to discuss something and don't see it posted, don't be afraid to jump right in and start a thread! Feel free to be a thread starter if you want to!

I welcome everyone to this site and encourage your participation!

No offense Patrick, but I think I scare people more than you do
