The dude wanted "front row only" and he didn't have a ticket. Not a very smart man.

The Flaming Lips ode to the Thunder.

To add to that they offered him a seat right behind the bench and he turned it down.

Hey, Just the Facts.... stick to something you know and keep away from the basketball talk... it's not your thing...

Great performance last night. Sadly I still don't think we can pull this off. If we hadn't squandered game one it would be a different story. We're in a position now where (including the game 3 win) we have to string together 4 straight against the Spurs...because I just don't see us winning a game 7 down there.

    Hope I'm wrong though!

Not a huge problem. Perkins plays a huge defensive role against teams who like to drive to the basket a lot. The Spurs don't so much so I would agree that against them Perkins is not a major factor. But in a whole season Perkins is very valuable. He also was against the Mavs and Lakers. As for an offensive trade off what do you want. The Thunder averaged over 100 points per game during the season. They scored 111 in game 2 against the Spurs. Our offense is fine. If we can contain the Spurs perimeter shooting like we did in game 3 we still have a shot at this thing.

Perkins' totals last night: 23 minutes, 2-4 FG, four points, eight rebounds to lead the team, and he and Ibaka led the team with three blocks each.

Perkins had a great night for sure.

Tim Duncan looked tired last night, shot only 33% and 2 rebounds. The Spurs blog site is saying that his minutes need to be reduced already, that he's old and tired. This could play right into a favorable game 7 for the Thunder.

...and I don't think he had a single traveling violation. He has also been driving by my house giving me the 'stare down' - kind of like those Orkin bugs

Everyone has already covered the game, which was GREAT! But I have to add one little unbasketball related comment. Say what you will about Hansen, those boys can SING. I've been to a lot of games this season, and that was the best Nat Anthem. The guy that did the Anthem on his sax was pertty darned good, but last night beat that.

How about Perkins tonight? Everyone gave him a hard time after the first two, but I've been really impressed with him in these last two games! Ibaka was unbelievable. Kid Clutch showed up as usual, too.

Im going to be nervous for Thunder in Game 5 like I was when OU played at OSU in 2010 lol. every possesion will count, hopefully Ibaka, Perkins, and Collison will not get uncomfortable

Thabo's steal was great, too. Hopefully game five or six will be more like Bedlam from 2011 or 2009 in the Thunder's favor. I'd like another blowout or two. I doubt that will happen though.

The pressure now shifts to the Spurs.

Not only have they lost the last two, if they don't win this next one they are in deep poop.

We need to let it all hang out in San Antonio and keep them on their heels. If we could win that one, we are in fantastic shape.

Good lord it would be monumental for this city to have a Heat-Thunder finals

Less monumental note, it would be the first NBA Final where both teams had non pluralized names.

If they play in game 5 like they did in the first two quarters last night they may have a chance at beating the Spurs Monday. Assuming they lose tomorrow, but win Wednesday at home this would put a lot pressure on the Spurs to finish out the series in a game 7. They weren't expected to have to play a game 6 or 7 a few days ago.

I'm saying we will win in 6. If we win tonight, I should be right. If not, I still think we'll find a way to win game 7 in San Antonio.

Ok, here's my reasoning for winning tonight...

Game 1, we had momentum...momentum of coming off a series against LA. They were on a high. They were leading in SA by 8 or whatever to start the 4th quarter and then SA did something that no other team this year has done to us. They scored 39 points. I think that deflated the team. Now they're riding the momentum of having won 2 in a row against a team that had won 20 in a row and that's definitely big time.

We're still going to have to fire on all cylinders like them being a well oiled machine. I mentioned that we had to play at home like lasers cause that's the only thing that can cut through that well oiled machine. Going to have to be big time performances tonight for them to shine in San Antone but I'm positive they can do it.

If we don't, it'll be SA in 6 or 7. The momentum can easily swing back their way. It's our players choice whether or not they're going to give it back to them.
