dbl d-bolt on a mostly glass door, balcony door at that, does sort of scream overkill. Maybe there was a special on a bulk buy of the doors?

I'm guessing the double dead bolts are where you can lock the bottom from the outside with a key, and the top deadbolt you can only lock from the inside

The ones at the Lincoln at Central Park are like that too.

They put two but you only lock one. That is so no matter how long the criminal tries to pick the locks he is always locking one.

The locks turn a certain way to lock and opposite to unlock. your scenario doesnt work unless you install one upside down and is double keyed.

Did anybody that's taken the tour recently get to see the personal storage at all? I've got a washer and dryer sitting here that I won't need, hopefully the storage is big enough to toss in there for a while.

I meant to move all the smiley discussion to the thread below, but accidentally deleted them instead.

Anyway, all about using smilies on the site can be found here:

It looks like they're putting gates up on the first floor balconies, which are kind of cool looking.
Yeah there will be gates on the ground level balconies with the apartment #'s on them, but I didn't like how they put steps in the middle of the balconies on those units. It limits the space for patio furniture.

Also, not sure if it's already been posted, but here's a cool link to the Allford Hall Monaghan Morris site with details about Level. Check out the links on the left hand side. http://www.ahmm.co.uk/projectDetails...ments?sub=news

I know it will look different once it's completed and has landscaping, but we drove by it yesterday and the initial reaction was that it looked like a prison. I think the black and white colors didn't help, but the balconies almost look like cells...

Visited with some of the new tenants while they were moving in this weekend. Hard to believe the move in schedule was met, but they seemed happy even with the ongoing construction.

Overall, this is a great project. However, I must say I'm disappointed in the final product from the renderings. I'm not as adept at many here at reading renderings. But there's just too much fake stucco for my taste. Still, though this is disappointing, it's still a solid living project for downtown OKC.

Not sure what prisons you've been looking at, but I think the landscaping will be a dramatic improvement.

I would love to live in that prison!! Preferably with a skyline view! It's a great and much needed addition to Deep Deuce, I'm really starting to like that area.

I agree it does look a little dry....

But, none of the landscaping or sidewalk is done. Potted plants and random decorations aren't on people's balconies. People aren't walking around. When this place takes life if will look great. Have hope!

I just got my keys, did my pre-inspection, and hung out there for a bit, and I think once the landscaping is done it'll look a MILLION times better. Re-confirmed that Aloft will completely block my view of Bricktown. I'll try to snap some pictures tonight. Also kind of surprised at how much work there is to be done. Doesn't bother me but I could understand it bothering others.

Didn't realize how much I missed the sounds of the city... F the 'burbs!
