The front storm approaching the metro is going up and down. The hook get tightened up then fall apart. Got to watch it carefully. The tornado threat just increased for the next few hours. We still got storms out behind the front storm.

They all seem to really be worried about tomorrow - they're comparing it to the Alabama outbreaks. It gets old hearing "perfect storm" with every severe outbreak though.

You're right. Each outbreak are unique.

Large tornado reported right now at Highway 9 and I-35. In the path are OU, NWS, Airport, and the town.

Just got home and traffic everywhere is dreadful. Broadway Extension is a parking lot leaving downtown. Got a text from a friend who has gone about a mile in the past 20 minutes on 44 northbound near 10th.

I haven't heard any. KJRH in Tulsa is reporting there is no damage. Video seems to disprove that.

There were reported injuries, but those are not clear yet.

Yes, also like I said before thankful that temps didn't get into the 80s. But there's still Saturday to get thru. Maybe it will move on and get started on the east side of the state tomorrow.

Yes, thanks. The first wave brought some rain but not any hail and then it skirted on down to Norman and I got interested in watching that instead of checking back in, here. Plus, the dog was freaked out and I was peeling her off the ceiling.

This second round has had hard rain and about four pea sized pieces of hail but that's about it. My weather station is not giving my rain readings for some reason, but the regular guage says almost an inch and a half. It came right over us but we can see the light green that follows the storm, right now.
