Anybody know when they are going to have the water surrounding the 1st floor like the one this rendering?
Downtown OKC with Amtrak headed south to Ft. Worth.
The above picture is pretty good for having something not all that commonly seen in skyline pictures, a train.
I don't know why my links always get broken. I know the URL is still good, but the picture went away from the previous post after about half a day. Here's the picture again with a different linkl.
Any idea when the rest of the windows will be installed?
LOL....obviously I dont know what I'm doing. Taken from I40 in Del City.
Cooper, where are your new shots??
Early morning train.
Took a ton of photos outside and inside the Garden Wing at Nebu this morning before work. Noticed the Continental sign and took some photos but didn't have time to get close or I would be late. I'll try to have them up tonight.
I guess now the trend-setter is to get a train in every picture? LOL =)
I think trains add interest to the photo. I have a friend that took a picture from Bricktown when a train was passing through showing tourist walking along the river walk and a canal boat all with the skyline of OKC in the background. He won a prize from his Springfield photo club for that shot. I have to admit that he photoshopped the boat to get all of those elements in his picture.
You won't get any argument from me. Just the presence of a train when somewhere urban like that makes it feel even more urban IMO.
I like both of your pictures with trains in it a lot better than the pictures with no train and just the tracks, not that the train is the focus but still.
This thread is a Wonderland of great pictures.
Exceptional, in every way. Extraordinary.
Thanks Cooper! Looking forward to it as always.
