Here's a few of opening day from the Oklahoman:
The weather's been terrible Pete... my work schedule changed for Mondays and Tuesdays.
Will, it's not your responsibility to always do this although everyone loves it when you do.
The building isn't going anywhere so we can be patient!
Thanks so much for those!
Looks awesome... I like the wood elements that provide contrast and warmth to the vast, light space.
I've already heard a lot of great things about Nebu and love the fact that Devon has made it available to the public.
Beautiful pics, gives you a sense of unity, I like wood elements as well Pete :-)
Thanks! Actually, the warm looking wall covering on the left in the 5th picture is sandstone. Very cool look. And the black negative edge fountain is just really cool and peaceful. Very tastefully done. The feel of the building is very rich and elegant.
My question is when are they going to install the rest of the windows!?
Does anyone know what hours the rotunda is open? Is it the same as the restaurant?
Not sure about the rotunda but Nebu (the restaurant) is only open for breakfast and lunch.
Eventually, I'm sure the rotunda will be open until later so people can access the restaurant and banquet facilities at the top of the tower.
I imagine we'll see some new shots from Cooper. I am in Bricktown and saw (what I presume to be) his helicopter hovering near Devon for a brief moment at a fairly low altitude (about 3/4 the tower's height above the ground) and then proceeding south. I think it was him anyway, looked like the same helicopter I saw several weeks ago when he was shooting.
I'm surprised the Secret Service is allowing him to be around!
Nice image
What year is that image?
Wow, so in just about 15 years, we had 6 major buildings built, (BOK plaza, Oklahoma tower, Chase, Sandridge, Leadership square and the convention center). And from then, pretty much nothing except for the Chesapeake Energy Arena. I sure hope we go on another construction rampage!
