I said earlier that I thought Devon might leave some floors empty for future expansion but I've been told that is not the case...
They will have people on every floor and just leave offices empty for growth.

From today's Oklahoman:
that pic gives some perspective on how big the rotunda is ..
Who is going down there to day to share photos with all your OKCTalk friends????
I wouldn't go down in this torrential rain even if I was off work. I don't leave until 6:30 then I'm going to a RetroMetro board meeting. Supposed to rain most of the week.
This is a photo I took from my phone on Saturday..
I have a better one on my dslr.. But couldn't wait to share
Thanks Aaron!
I took several .. Ill post more later tonight.
Leaving the game around 11:00 pm last night, they were continuously cycling the colors, blue, purple, green, red....it seemed to go at least halfway up the building. Most of the fins were on, with only a few having issues. Looked awesome, I over heard several people talking about it as we went back to the parking garage.
just had lunch at the new food court...pretty awesome. many choices and plenty of seating. i forgot my dang phone so i didn't get any pictures.
Nice picture AaronB, thanks.
I guess I have not been fortunate enough to be down that direction when they have had the Triangle lit up with LED. are there any pics? I am anxious to see it when all the lights are working!
Really good picture, AaronB.
The triangle / crown has not been lit up with LED's as of yet.
There has been construction lighting but the LED's have only been tested up to about the 30th floor and they will continue working their way up the building.
I got several in early morning hours, including a couple of the offices. Left my camera at office - will take some more tomorrow.
Pete - will email those to you tomorrow evening for posting. Haven't installed all software on new computer for PhotoShop, etc, so they will be "raw".
Pete, how do you get access to pics on Oklahoman stories on newsok? When people post pics from newsok I never know where they're getting them from b/c I never see any when I click on story links, and I can't tell if I'm missing something due to ad blocking software, or if there are any pics there in the first place. Are they embedded within the stories somewhere, or are you going to a separate gallery page?
If you ever see a photo on newsok.com, just click on the story and there is often a gallery.
I'm a subscriber so perhaps I see more content than those who are not?
I didn't make it down today as planned. I had biz meetings I had to take care of, but also as Will said, the weather today was just not worth fighting, even if I had the time.
I found some great aerial skyline views at KFOR 's (ch.4) web site. They were taken recently and downtown looks really good, especially the Devon Tower. Go to KFOR's website and click on "must see pics". Enjoy! I don't know how to put the link on our thread .
The link to the series of photos: http://www.kfor.com/43/kfor-photos-s...5.photogallery
My favorites:
KFOR always has the best skyline images of Oklahoma City
With those shots, I'm more and more in hopes that a tower is going up at 4th and broadway...it would be the best balance for the skyline.
I can't believe after a million views and almost 10,000 replies to this thread we didn't get one person to take a photo on opening day!
I don't mean that as a criticism it's just surprising given the obvious interest in this project.
