Looking for ones that have been freshly battered and fried at the time of each order, rather than pre-fried, then reheated. Thick fluffy batter indicates high proportion of meringue, which indicates the kitchen's pride in it's relleno.

Red Rock
Haven't found any good ones locally.
Casa Perico has good Chile Relleno's. I used to like the Border Crossing in Norman's Chile Rellenos. I was really disappointed when it went out of business. Abels' at N.W. 50th and MacArthur has good chile Rellenos.
Bigray in Ok
I heard the new Hollies steak house in Moore has really good ones. Havent tried personally.
Best chile rellenos I've had are at a place called Lorraine's (sp?) in Borger, TX. I've had my fair share of rellenos, but no one comes close.
I like both Abels & Casa Perico (122) for Mex. get the two hot garnishes at CP (jalepeno & habenero)
