We missed some of you at the Singles Event.

The folks that showed up: Keith, me, OklaCity_75, Ms.Relaxationstation and her 2 daughters, the Old downtownguy (and a friend...sorry...I can't remember his name....).

ms.relaxationstation and her two beautiful daughters. After spending time with all of us guys, she finally hit the bottle....actually, she was drinking bottled ice tea.

No, that's not Patrick. That's Rowdy, the RedHawks mascot. I know, they do have quite a few similarities.

Again.....we had great seats.....unfortunately, no foul balls.

I would've showed up if I didn't have to take this stinking GMAT tomorrow but I've been studying trying to get the stupid verb tense stuff more straightened out in my garbled head since it's been at least 12-13 years since I've had to deal with it!

But anyways I'm off to do an actual computer-based GMAT test now before I head to sleep tonight

We completely understand. If I had my GMAT tomorrow, I wouldn't have shown up either. lol! Best of luck with the GMAT and let us know how it went.

I've learned that most single people are full of excuses, and it sounds like the singles here aren't any different. Most want people to feel sorry for them, but when it's time for action, they're too scared.

I could not have said it better my self, Uptown.

I made the effort to show up and I will every time there is an event.

We had a blast tonight it is a shame more people were not there. As you can see there were plenty of open seats so you could have showed up late if you wanted.

Going to the game is more than just watching the sport. The crowd alone was fun the Redhawks staff was running out every so often having sing-a-long' and contests with the crowd.

I have to admit it is hilarious to see a bunch of grown adults jumping around trying to catch free hotdogs and t-shirts.

Oh, well you guys missed out.... Hope to see you next time.

BTW nobody was mean or hateful and nobody tried to pick up anybody. We came to have fun and to get off the couch and out from in front of the computer. Try it next time.

Do not come up with 40 excuses why you cannot go. I skipped class tonight, Patrick gave up a night of studying, Keith gave up a night with his family, Ms. Relaxationstation could have used the excuse that she did not have a sitter. Instead, she brought her kids and from what I could tell, they had fun.

I know some of you had valid reasons but, the rest of you I know you were sitting at home. If you do not make the effort, you will never meet anyone new. If nobody in the group tickles your fancy, come to the events just to get out of the house. Who knows coming to these events may give you ideas of things to do with your next love interest.
Then again, you may meet your next sweetie in the crowd.

Some of the posts to this thread have abanonded the title topic of this thread.
