betts, I think it's important that people share information they hear...

Just pointing out that I don't present something as fact unless I've pulled hard data from the many databases I keep or from an official source.

There is a place for both types of information and I try to distinguish between the two.

The County Assessor shows 34 of 56 units have been sold at the Lofts at Maywood Park but a few have been re-sold.

Boulder, I assume you mean the developer is leasing out some of the unsold units?
yes pete ... also the developer has leased a few of the central ave villas ... that have not sold as fast as they hoped .. and mo cheeks at one point was leasing one of the brownstones

Mo Cheeks hasn't ever lived at the Brownstones unless he just moved in recently, as someone moved in a month or so ago whom I've not met. Last I know he was living at Block 42.

Glad to know they're selling, just not sure why it's so dark when I go by there.

Maurice Cheeks is one of the Thunder coaches. He was a star player and is a former head coach.

I have lived at The Lofts at Maywood Park for a year now, and the street lights have been out since The Level construction started. We have asked the city and OG&E several times but apparently they will stay off until work in the area is completed.

Also, none of us turn on our balcony lights regularly, but it might help if we did. Pretty much all the south facing units are occupied. Nice to see the Clark building lit up now though.

    Thanks for the information.

    Do you own or rent?

    I own.
I believe that the developer still "owns" around 19 units, several of which are being leased. There are a handful that were purchased by indivduals to be rented out as well, but still a good number are occupied by the owners. Our HOA took over Q2 of last year.

The city's refusal to have lit streets at night in so many downtown areas is egregious.

They usually don't replace burnt out lights unless a citizen calls them in to the action center or OG&E directly. I do it all the time but there are soooooooo many around town burnt out.

The ones in our neighborhood were out for two weeks. I'm sick and tired of the lip service public officials use about "getting tough on crime" when they are unwilling to ensure simple preventative measures such as adequate lighting in neighborhood areas.

I already see where I am going to store my beer keg collection and run my clothes line. This complex isn't going to be impacted by the balcony ordinance is it? Are those bars close enough together to keep my chickens from getting out, or do I need to put chicken wire on it as well? How many bales of hay do you think I can stack out there?

I would hit "like" on this if I could.

Level is coming together nicely. That will be a fine looking corner. Hope they can compliment it with something nice just east of it. That is a great location now.

Are you advocating forcing out the church or do you mean the empty lot north of the church?
