Most of the stores that I have seen have very little open glazing. The store that went into the former Rheul space in The Domain has about 16 or so feet of glazing behind a clay tile block facade.

Per Pete's request, I snapped pics this morning of the "mystery" building just west of Anthropologie. After getting up close to it, I realized that it should have plenty of frontage windows, but that they are covered up by black plywood, thus making the building look like it is almost all brick/stone which was suspected because the rumored tenant was a bank (which would make sense for lack of windows). Now I suspect we may see 2-3 retailers go in this space. I asked the construction guys working on it if they knew and they said they had no, idea, and to call the leasing office if even they knew.
Enjoy:
Thanks metro!!
Even though that building is pretty big, there is very little parking in front of it.
Still have no idea who/what is going in there.
Pete, welcome. There is more parking than it looks, but still not a ton. I personally think its refreshing compared to elsewhere in OKC where there is sea of parking. Utica Square in Tulsa is similar in that not much curbside parking, but has one or two open areas of more parking in the entire development.
Interesting. Sure doesn't look like Oklahoma City in my opinion.
I wonder if they will put some picnic tables under that steel room looking thing. Might be a cool place for a trendy bistro type.
Could it be the next Pops location?
Pops would be cool but I am not sure it is upscale enough for that area.
Maybe they could sell really upscale soda that costs 5 bucks a bottle?
Not to mention, the original POPS would loose its appeal and many metro drivers would no longer make the trek to Arcadia.
tuck, have you heard if there will be another restaurant in that new building in the Triangle?
Or how about another one for Classen Curve? I know CHK just changed the zoning to allow for more restaurants.
I don't think they have solid plans for the Triangle tenant, but have tons of interest. I've heard that the additional Curve tenant should be official soon.
You mean the additional Curve restaurant tenant?
Yes, from what I understand, they are close.
I've heard that a Pops is going in where the NH drugstore was. Just a rumor, but I heard it from people who live in NH.
Don't get that, seems it would kill lots of traffic to the Arcadia location.
So what kind of restaurant is it, Tuck ?
CHK has said the new Nichols Hills Market will have a lunch counter but we don't know who is going to operate it or even the market as a whole.
It's also obvious there is going to be another restaurant added to the main part of Class Curve (not the Triangle) but we don't know the operator of that, either.
I've heard a few different rumors. One being that the store can be split into 3 different stores, one possibly being lululemon. Another possibility is for an urban outfitters to go in, which would obviously be convenient with Anthropologie being next door. Again, this is all speculation but it came from someone who is pretty involved with the development of the area.
Oklahoma needs an Urban Outfitters. It would do great.
Yeah, I am in NYC right now and I spent $200 at Irban Outfitters yesterday! Been wanting one so badly!
