It's not suprising that LA tops the list this year. I'm not sure how we compare to last year but OKC is number 15 and is number 3 in the operating income column.

I was also pleased to see the Thunder ranked 5th in operating income
Last year: 18th, $22.6 million operating income, franchise valued at $329 million.
Kind of hard to believe that Oklahoma City is pretty much the smallest market team in the NBA yet when it comes to value we're right in the middle.
Clay Bennett & PBC have done an outstanding job promoting the NBA in OKC. The value of the relocated Supersonics when purchased was right around $280 million. PBC paid $350 million for a struggling franchise in Seattle which was racking up losses reported at $15 to $20 million annually.
What a success story! Just think of the positives this franchise has done in boosting Oklahoma City's image; you couldn't get a better advertising package investment on New York's Madison Avenue.
