Pete (or whoever positively knows), I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this but I'm asking for clarification; are the LED's going to go all the way up the side of the tower or will they only be at the bottom where they've been testing them?
I hope this answers the questions on the LED lighting. These are from the architects website combined into a animation file to show the difference between day and night.
We have seen them test sections but will each pane be capable of independent colors?

Did anyone on here know that Japan constructed a 30 story hotel building in 15 days. How did they do that and could the Devon tower could have been done in a similiar way say about 50 stories in 60 days?
I wish we could use the image on the OKC Chamber website for our banner!
Taking advantage of Cooper_GOIVM's photo and crane removal skills, thought I'd throw a guess out there as to what the LEDs might sorta look like when lit.
Are there LEDs on the inside of the crown? I'm guessing there are.
Someone with better compositing skills than I could make it far more realistic.
I've posted this before, but the Duke Energy Center in Charlotte is pretty close to what we are likely to see from Devon Tower:
January 28 2012
So close!!!
They still have a lot of work to do as only one of the triangles has back panels and another has zero front or back.
They need the cranes to complete all that work but the cranes almost certainly have to come down before they can start moving people in.
I'm beginning to wonder if they are going to make their previously-announced March date... That's only a month or two away.
Awesome shot...you can see Devon looking to the north from all the taller (4+ story) buildings at OU. You just see the tops of the rest of the skyline due to downtown being in a broad valley, and Norman also being in a valley with parts of south OKC and Moore in between a couple hundred feet higher in elevation.
I was downtown last night and they were heavily testing the LED's in all 3 recessed areas. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera.
On the North side they had almost every single segment lit up from the ground up to the floor where the permanent interior lights have been installed. They were also flashing individual lines and segments on and off.
I SOOOO cant wait for the resuraunt. Will all the floors be completed say about September this year? When will all the employees be allowed to move in?
Went and took some photos yesterday evening!
