Great choice for a very intelligent kid who was more interested in the academics than with football. I've been hearing for a year or so that Stanford was his top choice. He's now made it official and I offer my best to a great kid and a great family. No walking in Dad's shadow for this young man. And, by the way, I hate "special admits" for players that don't belong in college and have to receive these dumbed down waivers to play football. Stanford does not sign "special admits", so Barry earned his way, with solid academics to Stanford.

Smart move by Sanders. 1. Would have to play in the shadow of his dad at OSU 2. Stanford runs the ball more and has more of a pro style run game which suits Barry better than OSUs spread offense 3. Great school and 4. OSU is pretty stacked at the running back position.
