This is why I say the human element is what's wrong with the system. It promotes bias, because those that benefit directly also get a vote. I don't know why no one has called out the Coach's Poll for being a massive conflict of interest until now, but it really does prove the problem with the BCS rankings isn't the computers, but the human voters.

It depends on the bowl but happens in several of them.

It's not a major issue but I did a little research. Unless I missed something, the only time that the teams don't get the same amount of money is in a couple of bowls that have contracts with two conferences and, in the contract, one conference automatically gets a larger payout than the other one regardless of who wins.
