Remember when USC shared an AP National Title a few years back?IS there any chance OSU could get the AP#1 and share the title?Or has the AP vanished from the picture?

NewsOK and CBSSports are saying that OSU will play Stanford in the Fiesta Bowl.
OSU v. Stanford... That is going to be EPIC!
Brandon Weeden and Andrew Luck
ESPN reports the difference between Bama and OSU was closest ever for the BCS!
Weeden vs. Luck!EPIC,I will watch this game from start to finish!
I'll watch all the bowl games except that joke of a national championship. Who wants to see a rematch of one of the most boring games ever? Im a sooner fan and feel the big 12 got screwed this year.

Damn Iowa State, they always knock off highly ranked teams every year!OSU will win the Fiesta bowl IMHO!
How do you figure they got screwed? If the teams would have taken care of business they would be there. You can't lose to a bad team then cry you got screwed.
Do you guys think OU's loss to Baylor hurt OSU's SOS?OU went from a top 5 in the BCS to #10,so if OU would have beaten BU,then OSU would have had a better SOS!
Funny you used the word "screwed" as that's the exact word used in this CBS Sports column. http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/story/16342271
It's pretty hard hitting as you can tell by the opening....be sure and click to read the rest.
"Oklahoma State isn't playing LSU for the national championship because Oklahoma State isn't in the SEC. We can parse any number of lesser facts -- computer rankings and human polls, strength of schedules and margins of victory -- but the only fact you need is that one:
Oklahoma State isn't in the SEC.
And so Oklahoma State got screwed."
A win over Iowa will be huge for OU's program
Think the Insight payout is $30,000 for the winner and $10,000 for the loser
I said yesterday the BCS was BS - FoxSports agrees...here's their front page this morning...
Florida going to the Gator Bowl (Jan 2) with a (6-6, 3-5 SEC) record to play a (6-6, 3-5 Big Ten) Ohio St.
There's something wrong when two 6-6 teams can play in a Jan. bowl game.
Oh the times when january bowls actually meant something.
I just read across the ticker on ESPNews that Nick Saban voted OSU #4 is the Coaches Poll and OSU was voted #4 in 5 out of 59 ballots...
I think the next version of the BCS or whatever it is, needs to completely eliminate the human element. Too much bias which the computers don't really latch on to, that much anyway.
There this is this story today about the Harris Poll...

Oh and then this part...Oklahoma State ranked sixth ... three times. We won't wade into the "Alabama vs. Oklahoma State" debate here, but at least we can agree -- when looking at the Cowboys' resume before they drubbed Oklahoma and claimed the outright title of the deepest league in the country this year -- that the Tide and Cowboys should have been No. 2 and No. 3 in some order, right?
Not if you ask former Iowa administrator George Wine, former Notre Dame wideout Derrick Mayes, former Hawaii coach Bob Wagner, who each had the Cowboys sixth. Wine went with Houston, fresh off their 49-28 beatdown at the hands of Southern Miss, at No. 5; Mayes went with Mountain West runner-up Boise State fifth; and Wagner ranked Boise No. 4 and two-loss Oregon fifth. All together, 15 voters placed the Cowboys fourth or lower. (The good news, Cowboy fans? That didn't cost you the title game.)
Yeah...that is legit. He should lose all voting rights going forward. Now it is hard to say how much it would have impacted OSU's chance to get into the BCS title if the votes moved around some. Chances are though if at least 1 human poll put them 2nd, they would have gone. Since I think Human polls count for 66% of the BCS score now.former SEC commissioner Roy Kramer crammed all five SEC teams in the poll into his top 11.
