West side Slim Chickens closed

Looks like the Slim Chickens store in front of the west side Wal-Mart has gone the way of the other eating establishments that have tried to make a go of it at that location.

Well that was fast. However, I would guess it has to do with the amount of traffic and just how unwelcoming it is to drive along that portion of the service road.

I noticed that yesterday. That building has a bad curse on it. It needs to become something other than a restaurant.

I actually liked the bbq place that was there, they had 1.50 taco tuesdays. There was usually no one else there though.

I think Krispy Kreme needs to come back and pouring glazed topping over the building to the break the curse they started.

Not too surprising considering how over priced and underwhelming the chicken was. I miss the BBQ that was there before.

Would be nice to see them take the opportunity to just start to redo and upgrade that area. I had the road/drive network in and out of Walmart there and the gazillion curb cuts.

It may have more to do with their chicken... Although it's fairly good, the options are limited. And, what? No gravy??? Really?

I liked the concept, building deisgn, interior and logo - just not the menu.
