I'm sure they will be dusty from either laying in a warehouse for a couple of months and/or laying on a tower floor before being installed. The inside glass will especially be dusty from all the work going on inside. Plus, the lower levels have been installed over a year and haven't had any regular cleaning.
i imagine they should be noticeably cleaner. ;-)
I bet they are cleaner than you all are thinking.

Klay Kimber from Devon and John Woods from Hines Development came to OU to speak about Devon Energy Center, and Mr. Woods told us that the tower topped out at 843' (he said they like to round up, lol!) He also mentioned that the whole complex will weigh around 120 million pounds!
Steve just posted this on his twitter account... The elevator ride up to the top of the Devon Tower:
Part Two: http://www.youtube.com/user/okchisto.../1/9f5158PAf7M
Part Three: http://www.youtube.com/user/okchisto.../0/lw4PMmAJawA
So will 843 ft. be the official height that will be listed on "The List of the Tallest Buildings in the U.S."
The number that was posted on here a while ago was something like 843.67 or something and I think it would be rounded to 844, but maybe that was inaccurate.
Cool!
Very strange to be looking way *down* on Chase Tower.
The videos are private.
Devon most likely told Steve not to share it. I think we should send a message to Devon about this. We should be able to see views on top.
No, they contracted the company who contracted the crane company who employed the crane operator who posted the photo that he took on company time while working on a closed jobsite. Same difference.
I don't think many on here understand the basic premise of private vs. public. We nave no "rights" to things Devon controls and they are not being unreasonable to withhold permissions...in fact they are being responsible and prudent. They have MASSIVE liability issues and you never know how any picture, video, etc. taken on the property may be used in the future should any incident occur. It is easy to criticize them, but people need to walk in their shoes. People need to grow up on here and understand what the real world of business is like.
This is kinda off topic but is the new i-40 open yet, how much longer does the consruction take?
It's on topic, just the wrong thread.....it's over in transportation.
What happened to poster JMarkRoss....? six month ago he said he knew that Devon was going to surprise us all and erect a spire or something dramatic on the top of the tower ??? Said he had inside info ?
JMark, you out there anywhere ?
