Thunder, regardless of what breed he is, Taz is a dog. He is a "puppy" now, but ultimately he is a dog.

People don't doubt your ability to give him proper care, but the concern is in "over" caring, and putting expectations on him befitting a HUMAN child, which he is not.

The pics are cute. Here's a website that details out poodle cuts. Most are fit for large, or "standard"-sized poodles, and many are the types of cuts they use in the professional show ring, so they're not practical for day-to-day grooming. You might look at the "Teddy Bear" cut, which is the best for young pups. It's less structured than the regular poodle cut, and lets him keep that cute curly hair, while still being trim.

I've tried to explain it to him before. It's like trying to teach a whale to walk; it's not gonna happen. Lol

After his nice visit at the barber shop why think of dying Taz's hair now? I like how his ears have natural color that stands out.

Agreed. Even though I don't care for Poodles (golden retriever - not yellow lab - person)...I do like how the natural coloring made for a unique look.
