Tonight I drove up to Piedmont to the Sonic. On the way back home, along Piedmont Road north of NW Hwy, I could clearly see the Devon Tower. It was amazing that could see it that far away at night. I didn't have my camera, but I think I will go back some night and try to take some pictures. Not sure how far that is as the crow flies, but I would guess 15-20 miles.

I only visited Ok City once in my life. But from my experience and judgement, it seems like this tower and park are going to set a new standard of quality in the city. It looks absolutely beautiful. And for me, I love watching cities in the US transform into better, more beautiful, and more livable places. This building certainly seems to have that kind of impact.
Kind of off topic... but sheesh that Sandridge building is an eyesore. Wouldn't be a bad idea to dress up the outside of it or just tear it down.
The Sandridge Building looks good in the OKC skyline.
^^Haha okay. It looks good for our skyline but it's still an ugly building.
Check back here in a while...
Thanks to the lousy Vimeo Uploader, I gotta start all over again.

Best yet...Amazing.
Not real happy how Vimeo renders the video on their end. Some areas are overexposed. I'm uploading it to YouTube right now. I've never put any of these on there before. I want to see if the video quality is better. Won't take too long. If it's better, I'll link to it.
By the way, here's what a real time lapse video looks like compared to my junk.
OKC as seen from my favorite viewing site, the upper deck of the Bricktown garage.
YouTube version looks just the same... so I don't know. Whites and clouds are too white.
Some of you had requested to see my original pic before I messed around with it. As I stated, it is blurry but that's because we were on the move. You'll see in this why the other buildings are brighter in my edit. Either way, it's a cool shot with the setting sun!
Awesome shot!
Wow! That is quite lovely! You should be proud of yourself for only having a skyline view from the Great State Fair of Oklahoma!!!
