Sure hope it doesn't make land at the Golden Goose. Thunder just put in his new tile.

I sent NASA an email that if a piece lands in my store and ruin the tiles, they'd better be ready for hefty payout.

Lets wait for Bostonfan's response regarding Taz's safety. :-O

I'd highly recommend avoiding the Ferris Wheel.

I'd be a lot more scared being on a Ferris wheel when a tornado is coming.

Lets reflect back on the poor souls stuck on the Ferris Wheel at Frontier City during a time a ravaging tornado barreled through the park.

I'd be more scared being stuck on a Ferris Wheel, with a tornado coming, with while being slowly attacked by a herd of angry abandoned pythons (or boa constrictors) slithering up the supports of the ride. In fact, probably so scared that I wouldn't notice the satellite debris hurtling in the general direction of the Fair (or Frontier City)--debris loaded with genetically engineered Super Space Spiders . . . Like tarantulas but bigger, meaner, and able to survive the impact . . .

Do you think pythons become more aggressive if they have abandonment issues?

    I would imagine so . . . But I really don't know.
You might want to ask Thunder.
Apparently an abandoned python (or boa constrictor) is in the foster care of one of his pals over at The Golden Goose.

    Oh!
Did I forget to mention that the Space Spiders are loaded with Impact Resistant EGGS????
    Scary stuff.

    Top 10...including:
A woman in Turley, Oklahoma, got a noggin-knock in January 1997 when she was struck with a lightweight fragment of charred woven material. She was not injured. The sky junk was identified as debris from a Delta 2 booster, which reentered the Earth's atmosphere on Jan. 22, 1997. Other debris from that booster included a steel propellant tank and a titanium pressure sphere.

Well, for heaven's sake. Maybe the asteroid and the satellite will collide.

I'm thinkin' that mebbe we all shoulda bought into that olde tyme Reaganesque "Star Wars Defense Intitiative" back in the '80s . . . Regardless of the "Cold War" ending.

But, of course, it would never have been in place:
In time to "take care" of the current threat.

From SpaceWeather.com...here is the projected track during the time it is expected to re-enter.

2007 TD should pass around 6 LDs (lunar distance) from the Earth. So shouldn't be an issue.

2009 TM8 on Oct 17 will pass with in 0.9 LD however. It is only 8 meters wide. -- http://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/sbdb.cgi?sstr=2009%20TM8&orb=1
2005 YU55 on Nov 8th will pass with in 0.8 LD and is larger at 175 meters wid. -- http://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/sbdb.cgi?sstr=2005%20YU55&orb=1

    Whew . . .
    That's a relief . . .
Apparantly only a whale or dolphin is at risk. =)

If we are "extra lucky" a shard of the craft might take out Hugo Chavez and put an end to the rumors.

    (Wait a minute . . . Only 6 (SIX) LDs????
Dang . . . I done jist turned off The WorryMeter and now THIS? =)

Hmm yes....ah "satellite" crashed and killed him.

    Is Hugo Chavez still alive?
That one yellow line on the map of potentiality looked like it could have ended in Venuzuela . . .
    But I could be wrong . . . =)

And we aren't talking actual "satellites" here . . .
We are only extrapolating satellite "debris tracks" . . .

    Heads up, Thunder:

    Breaking News!!!:

"If you do come across what you suspect is a satellite piece, NASA doesn't want you to pick it up. The space agency says there are no toxic chemicals present, but there could be sharp edges. Also, it's government property. It's against the law to keep it as a souvenir or sell it on eBay. NASA's advice is to report it to the police."

So . . . You might want to be wearing gloves when retrieving satellite pieces.

If I find a piece, I'm keeping it anyway.

    That's what I figured . . .
    Hence the gloves suggestion.
