Does anyone have any recommendations for a good inexpensive website developer / designer?
Nothing major a small company that needs a decent web presence. I don't want to pay continuous monthly fees for the upkeep either.

What is your budget?
I am not sure what my budget is.
What is the going rate for a basic business website?
It depends on the style, amount of work, etc.
You will enjoy working with Tiff at http://www.3wavesicon.com/. Ask her about pricing.
Is that a local web developer?
Yeah, Oklahoman made all in Oklahoma. Is this a great state or what?
Yes, she is located in midtown.
You can do them yourself now pretty easily and on a low budget. Take a look at http://www.weebly.com for a great inexpensive DIY solution. Or consider a WordPress site. I just did this one for Scott Adams Atty - http://www.scottadamslaw.com
Good job, Brian. You continue to amaze me. Luv ya.
The gray on gray is a tad tough on these poor ol' eyes, but dang decent layout overall. You did good for Scott.
I pretty much did mine myself as well on a wordpress site. I bought a theme and fit it to my needs. There are still a few things that I would like to do but I don't HTML code that well.

The one for Scott is Word Press. I think Word Press is really the way to go these days.
I'm still playing with the design and colors. He just called and wanted something "Now!" I have to look at sites on several different computers and devices and tweek from there. The problem with these Apple Cinema Displays is they are so vibrant the colors often don't look as good on other monitors. The gray on gray is a tad tough on these poor ol' eyes, but dang decent layout overall. Nothing wrong with that site. Presents itself well and allows you to look like a million bucks without spending hardly anything.I pretty much did mine myself as well on a wordpress site.
