Thread: Website developer / designer.....

  1. #1

    Default Website developer / designer.....

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good inexpensive website developer / designer?

Nothing major a small company that needs a decent web presence. I don't want to pay continuous monthly fees for the upkeep either.

I am not sure what my budget is.

What is the going rate for a basic business website?

  4. Default Re: Website developer / designer.....

It depends on the style, amount of work, etc.

You can do them yourself now pretty easily and on a low budget. Take a look at http://www.weebly.com for a great inexpensive DIY solution. Or consider a WordPress site. I just did this one for Scott Adams Atty - http://www.scottadamslaw.com

I pretty much did mine myself as well on a wordpress site. I bought a theme and fit it to my needs. There are still a few things that I would like to do but I don't HTML code that well.

The one for Scott is Word Press. I think Word Press is really the way to go these days.

I'm still playing with the design and colors. He just called and wanted something "Now!" I have to look at sites on several different computers and devices and tweek from there. The problem with these Apple Cinema Displays is they are so vibrant the colors often don't look as good on other monitors.

Nothing wrong with that site. Presents itself well and allows you to look like a million bucks without spending hardly anything.
