Thread: Devon Energy Center

I love it! OKC could honor the people by building another set of twin towers right here, same height, but more modern.

What is the building in the third pic that's tall and skinny? Just to the right of your WTC... a smidge taller than Chase? Can't be 7 cause 7 was a long (width) building. If its Sandridge, your dimensions are a wee bit off. Otherwise, I dig em.

My girlfriend and I were trying to compare the Devon Tower to the Twin Towers to her 11 year old son. Now I can use these renderings as a reference!

Looks that way, and they started the second stage of the north side in the last couple days...

He said to the right. Chase is the smaller black one to the far left, over by Devon.

I understand the sentiment, that would be cool, but "OKC" doesn't build buildings per se. Companies that believe the ROI is there to build the building do so.

Lastly, I wish they would of made Two World Trade Center's peak height parallel with One World Trade Center's spire, I absolutely love the design of Tower Two.

William where did the first 30 sec. of the video originate from (what direction)? Great video/pics!

The shot on top of St. Anthony's garage before security made me leave. I already got what I came for so that was it.

Man, those were my favourite skyscrapers as a child... It saddens me to see how enormous they are compared to OKC's skyline, even with Devon in it.

Hah, that's a big "NO" Idea. And more modern? These buildings were gorgeous, but i've always been a fan of this style of architecture. Where some people prefer more modern, I see these as elegant and stylish.

Wil, I think that the 9/7 video may be your best yet. Great work!

Beautiful photos! Absolutely breathtaking! But I think my favorite is the one of the construction workers....

Great stills, but the video isn't showing on my phone. Can someone provide a link?

Seeing the picture of the current Devon building with their name near the top and on the side made me wonder. Does anyone know what kind of signage, if any, they are planning for the new bulding?

I've never seen any renderings with signage. The way the tower stands out signage may not be necessary...

Probably none, signature buildings don't need any. The boring type of architecture on their current building, well some would say it makes it look better. Think how tacky signage would look on that iconic glass tower.
