Before you go home, stop by your favorite Golden Goose market. :-D
(Beanie Babies still here taking up space.)
I just still cant believe it, I have went to sterlings when i was a little kid. I hope nothing happened to the lady who ran it..
yeah i know, but the daughter took it over when her parents retired, I was there back in november to get roasted peanuts and she was telling me the story of the business
thunder are you at golden goose sundays when they open?
we will be there in the morning when they open, we will bring the kiddos to look around
Okay, hope Jerry show up tomorrow. He didn't today, so the trains was closed. Hopefully he will be there tomorrow. The huge set, its still being partially torn down and remodeled, but don't know when it will be complete. Awesome train sets you can look at for Christmas. ;-)
I will be here perfectly from 9 to 6. The bag of Beanie Babies that I hold for you plus the other year of McD complete set still in original packages I can give to you. They're worth money, just haven't gotten any buyer thru Craigslist. Clearing out the box shelf that USG made, so that I can put it on top of the huge lucky bamboo table.
Oh, Snowball will be available. Hopefully she will be awake while your kids are there.
I was at the market about 6 weeks ago, they had fencing up around where Sterling was. There was only one stall open with veggies & very very slim pickings. They did have roasted peanuts though. There was a new place open, a little place with potted plants & a small flower case in front and a little art studio in back. I spoke with the guy running it, he said that the daughter had taken over Sterlings but decided that it was time to close completely. He said there were a LOT of things inside that needed to be fixed & they chose to close down instead but there's another market supposed to be opening in its place maybe around September. He also mentioned an organic fruits/veggies place opening along with a bakery.
I hope that is true. It didnt look at all like a farmers market this past saturday morning
