Well I have no idea about Mary Fallin , but if she is willing to pay his way just so he can go back to his buds and make a joke out of it all, then she is dumber than a box of rocks.Originally Posted by Jack
Hey it may not be that much of a joke. Two weeks ago I finally had a date with this beautiful blonde girl I met a couple years ago, the first and last date in my book. Found out from someone else that knows her she is into black guys and cocaine, what a loser she turned out to be.Originally Posted by Bobby H

The entire state of Oklahoma can't pretend to be New York City or assume an entirely urban identity. That would be ridiculous.I hope you're joking. The longhorn cattle/buffalo/vast wasteland feel is what we need to get away from. Hate to say it but Lawton is vast wasteland.
Also, there's nothing wrong with having a refuge with lots of wildlife. I don't see herds of buffalo as a negative. The only thing that seems visually odd out there is the big wind power farm north of Lake Lawtonka. But then I think those 200 foot tall wind turbines are pretty cool too.
Lawton does indeed have its problems, but some folks are trying to do something positive about it. If you believe the Lawton area is a vast wasteland, then please don't ever move there. Negative attitudes among residents has been by far that city's worst problem. Those with can't do attitudes about their own community have a choice: do something about it or move.
