Thread: Half Priced Books

  1. #1

    Default Half Priced Books

I noticed today that Edmond is getting a Half Priced Book store. It's going in on 2nd street just west of Bryant, in the same center where the Walmart Neighborhood Market and Pei Wei is located, in the old Party Galaxy or whatever it was called was. I was n the center last week and noticed there was some activity going on in the location. Then today I drove through and noticed a Half Priced Books Coming Soon sign in the window.

I do, but I would never sell them back to Half Price books. What they give you for them is ridiculous. I'd rather donate to the Public Library Sale.

I still buy them, but I wouldn't sell them either. Half Price Books doesn't just sell used books though. They do sell new ones as well as used.

This is great news! I have two daughters that read voraciously and we go frequently. Everytime, we go to the store on 63rd it is very busy.

True. My wife is an avid reader. She goes into HPB occasionally to find books that her favorite local used book store doesn't have. Then goes to her favorite local used book store to trade them for way more the HPB buys them back for when she's read them. Also, the new books and other stuff that HPB sells can usually be found cheaper elsewhere. I don't really get the attraction of HPB.
