Another day without an announcement.

Every day without an announcement means more legal barking. Considering that the initial contract was very pro louisiana, every second that passes is good for us.

The New Orleans media has lied about Shinn's commitment in '07 and has lied about his comments wanting to leave NO (said he publicly threatened to sue them). The "insiders" on the New Orleans message boards are part of that media and anyone that promises to know the Hornet's future 2 years down the road is a blatant liar (even if they are pro OKC).

Trust no one. Common sense says that lengthy negogiations on this contract give Shinn a shot at staying here.

In light of common sence I would be happy if the Hornets delay the announcement for months if they want....and then they can stay here at home!!!

You're right on Patrick. I also think they might hold out today because its the President's State of The Union Address and the announcement would get overshadowed

Just anounced 35 games here next year, 6 in NO, and working out a deal for the 08 All Star game in NO. I'm sticking with my prediction...
