What make those fishies jump out of the water?

The noise from the motors in the water freak them out and they jump. Same with flying fish in the ocean, but those things can glide 100 yards.

Very educational, and a little scary. Loved how they have the "redneck" festival where they go out and catch a bunch of them. Reminds me of the rattlesnake round-ups in southwestern OK.
