Westbrook doesn't get injured as much as Chrissy Paul but they both whine too much about calls

Agreed, CP3 is made of glass; RW0 is an ox. Re-sign asap.

They have been friends since elementary school.

Most players in the NBA don't have the "pure talent" that he is playing with. Since when is having a ton of talent a bad thing in sports????

I disagree that Russell is playing on pure talent. RW had never even played as a point guard before joining the Thunder. It's not every game, obviously, but there are some where he plays the point brilliantly. It's easy to see him learning as he goes and he has a huge upside.

To the person who said Russell and James don't like each other, can you link me to a source?

I heard the opposite. I heard James, Russell, and Eric are the best of friends on this team.

We are lucky to have Westbrook, let's all hope we keep him...

Amen. I think we're all a little emotionally invested in this young team, and it's easy to sometimes let that frustration translate into a trade mentality rather than patience. With any luck, the Thunder's experiences this playoff season will pay dividends, just as they did after the first-round elimination against the Lakers did in 2010.
