Is there anywhere in the metro to get a good funnel cake besides the fair and white water/frontier city?

no place leaps to mind, but you can always go the DIY route. Here's one example

Several events in BT tend to have a cart that does them, but I don't eat them often and don't recall seeing anywhere that does them year round
Mmmmmmm, funnel cakes!
Maybe at the Arts Festival (ends Sunday)? There needs to be a place in town where you can get all of that great "once a year" foods all the time!
Funnel Cakes
Real hand dipped corn dogs
etc etc etc
Maybe would take away a little from the Fair and such but many people can't make it out (especially since they shortened the run a few years back). And the prices need to be reasonable (with the Fair or Frontier City, you have the cost of admission and then jacked up prices just because they can sort of thing).
I dunno if Old Paris still have them.
I only eat them once a year at the state fair. Its more meaningful that way and makes it special about going to the state fair. Its like, the most loving precious moment of falling in love with my funnel cake. Oh, each and every bite, so sensational, oh baby oh baby.
Jack in the Box has mini funnel cakes
Good to know about J/B, just wish there was one near me...
Know they would never get the Mayor's endorsement, but there needs to be a place that specializes in all the "on a stick" fair type foods....LOL
Still trying to get Toby Keiths to carry the Deep Fried Twinkees (the Vegas TK has them).
Yes, the arts festival has funnel cakes, as does any major event in the city or at OKC arena. You can also get them at Jack In The Box. Larry, Shorty Smalls at Reno & Meridian has the fried twinkles and they drizzle raspberry sauce on them.
Good to know...do they have something besides raspberry? Not my favorite.
It's amazing, but it's not like you can't hold the raspberry sauce
