True, and speaking of, what is the status on a possible new cam from the Chase tower and one that was possibly going to go in Deep Deuce for the Level and Aloft projects?

Regarding the cam in Chase Tower, the gentleman that volunteered to set that up is being held up by his IT department.

I'm still confident it will get done, it's just outside my control (and his). But the wait will be worth it.

The floor slab that you see immediately above the horizon line (on the web cam) is the 13th floor. That said if you count from there I get that they just placed the formwork that will support the pouring of the 44th floor, so we are not far from that now.

I know this is not the place to post this, but I don't want to make an entire thread just to mention it. I've also seen this subject discussed in this very thread several times before.

There is an old picture of Oklahoma City on that page. Can someone please update it? Probably to the same picture that's already there for the OKC page.

Pete, if you count the levels in the last photos you posted, it shows that that roof for the 40th level or floor for the 41st level has been poured.

I agree with Dulahey about the picture being changed to the same one that's on the OKC page. Can someone do this? The picture on the population page is not good. Doesn't do justice to our skyline and doesn't include the Devon Tower.

It is on the 41st floor. I just spent 3-4 hours down there until both batteries ran out. Wow, what an absolutely perfect day. I would have stayed down there all day but had to go charge my batteries. I got plenty of Devon video, all around the Myriad Gardens, Crystal Bridge and some of the Arts Festival. Look for it in a few days.

I was down at the Myriad Gardens for the Arts Festival and the tower is.... Uhhmazing! I didn't know where I was.. I thought "this couldn't be Oklahoma..."

From inside the Myriad gardens tube:

I count 41 completed levels and glass completed on 33, about halfway around the 34th.

A good reference point from the west (thanks dibbyba!) is the highest crane attachment is on the 30th level.

Can I ask a question? How tall from the total ground/bottom of the tower to the top of 50th floor? Then how tall is the crown and other stuff above the 50th floor?

"Oh, it's well planned, and we have light-rail." Well, whoopie for you, Portland. When we are all in our graves, the Devon Tower will be taller than anything in Portland. There is only one thing they hate more than people in Portland, and that is businesses. I'd take OKC any day of the week, over stagnant, full of homeless, drug infested, terrible weather Portland. Most overrated city in the U.S. They only rail on other cities like OKC, because they know that they will never be in the same league, themselves, as a Seattle, or a San Francisco. People in OKC are about 10,000 nicer, as well. Portland, Oregon sucks. Enjoy it, though, buddy.
Just so you know, that's not me; I was just pointing out where the guy from the other forum was from.

As far as I know, he has not ever been on here.

There is a nice view of the top on the horizon from Coffee Creek (220th) and Pennsylvania. Can only imagine what it will look like once complete and the lighting at night.

Are the concrete poles going to be left exposed? Or will they be covered in some type of material?
