Is anyone going. Its downtown this afternoon, I think at 1 or 2pm. It is supposed to be much bigger than last year

I went a few years ago. I elt very uncomfortable. I think I was the only white guy at the event.

I went yesterday. Clara Luper invited me. I used to be the musician at the church she attends. Patrick, I feel like I'm the only black guy most places I go. You get used to it. No need to be uncomfortable.

The event itself was nothing special, but it meant a great deal to the people that lived through the more blatant racism of a couple decades ago.

Although I didn't attend, I'm glad OKC is seeing more and more of these events , showing our diversity and that we are progressive. We are starting to see more and more cultural diversity and identity here.
