Did they go belly up? Their MexiCasa went under a few months back and a new Mexican joint is in it's place now, they painted the rainbow building to more earth tones now.

Sad to see what was one of OKC's better restaurants Tom & Jerry's go out like that.

On its best day, it was never one of the city's best restaurants.

So, if Tom and Jerry's does not own the more subdued tone fooderito that replaced Mexicasa, does anyone know who does?

I think everyone finally realized their restaurant wasn't very good.

Is it the same people who owned Diegos on 39th? We used to go there a lot.

Had lunch there today. Food was good, if unremarkable. Highlight was the taco al carbon. Flautas were just so-so. Typical watery salsa and queso. Chips were strange -- some really good homemade seeming mixed with some really generic.

I also had lunch at the new Diego's this week and agree that the food was good but doesn't compare to my favorites (La Luna, Las Palomas, Adobe Grill). The service was very good. I'll go back.

Tried Diego's' for the first time tonight. Food was tasty, but not fabulous. Service was very good; much better than Mexicasa. Be sure to ask for the "hot sauce". What was served initially was pretty bland. I will go back.
