I haven't tried it but from reviews I've read in other places Cajun King is really good.

The best catfish is the catfish you catch yourself.

That depends on how it's fixed. A great fisherman can be a lousy cook.

I think the all you can eat catfish at Mickey's Country Kitchen in Newcastle is the very best. Friday nights only.

I like the catfish at Cajun King but it isn't traditional by any means
White River Fish Market in Tulsa on N. Sheridan, north of Pine St. (I know, but it is truly GREAT)
McGeehee's outside of Marietta, right on the Red River (Again, I know, but try it...you'll LOVE it!)

I think that's just the "special" for Thursday. They have a spicy catfish, too.

I went there for lunch, excellent as always and I ate too much.

I will add my support to those who have mentioned Cajun King as best catfish. I'm not a huge catfish fan, but I would eat their catfish almondine all day long. Magical stuff.

Yup, Cajun King has transformed the catfish into something amazing. Yummy! Plus Ken & Simeon are so sweet.

Catfish Cabin is the most over-rated catfish!

I heard McGeehee's ain't what it used to be... Apparently their catfish farm flooded or something and now they don't have the fresh catfish anymore.

The Steak and Catfish Barn is closing in August, so where do I go now? Catfish Cove is OK, but not great (and is pretty pricey.)

I'm not a big fish eater but several people from my office go to A Family Affair regularly for catfish on Fridays.

Best catfish? One that is alive and not served as food. :-P

Give me my walleye any day.
