I know about the bottle thingy. I was just making a point about how high that thing is. But on another thought...who would want to climb down with a few bottles full? Anyway, that crane is huge. And it will just keep getting higher and higher. It fascinates me really. The operator definitely has the best view. An office with a view.
Anyone planning on changing this picture later this year?

i believe that devon tower will surpass BOK tower in height next month. i'm sure somebody will change the pic as soon as that happens.
Honestly to some extent I don't care for all the talk about changing wikipedia pages on here...just because we don't need people who are completely inexperienced as far as edits and so forth frequently going and making changes...
I do think if we have any users on here that are regular contributors though, it would be fine.
A 5000+ tower would look totally out of place in Oklahoma City...
The modern Tower of Babel??
It appears they've started applying the glass exterior on the North side of the Garden Wing. Here's a shot along the North side between the Garden Wing and the Devon garage:
And here's a shot of the tower from last Friday (1/21/11):
Gorgeous shot MacGruber!

Wow great pics Thundercitizen. My favorite is the second to last one. For a second I couldn't even tell it was in OKC.
Nice TC, Thanks!
Great pics! looks like they are starting the 30th floor. By my calculations the tower is 471' (6x21+23x15) so 2 more floors and it will become the tallest in okc by february 10th! Someone please correct me if I used innaccurate numbers.
Here's the same part of the Garden Wing that I uploaded a picture of yesterday. You can see how much glass they add in a day.
Great pictures... the height is nearly that of Chase!
Imagine, however, if the building was to stop at this height... it would still be a major addition to the skyline... but it would add to the "squaty" look that we've always had... I think it's great that it will be so much taller even if it does "look out of place" as some would suggest.
