Frisky, I probably saw over half of those live in concert so that was a nice clip. Some of the ones I enjoyed most were Elton John, Led Zeppelin, Don Mclean, and Simon and Garfunkel. My favorite wasn't shown and that was the Moody Blues. They were amazing.
Moody Blues and Chicago!!!
you guys don't remember The Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, Dion and the bellmonts....Frankie Lyman......The Heartbreaks?.....you probably really never heard of Jimmie Rodgers....

I remember that well. I used to be able to sing along word for word with that song even though I had no idea at all what I was saying. LOL.
Another oddity from that era was:

I took French in junior and senior high so I was a little better with this one.
And how about "nel blu dipinto di blu"? For some reason, this one came to mind on my last trip and I was singing it in my mind for about a week.

A nice old song made popular again in 1961 by the great movie "Judgment At Nuremburg"

Yeah...she smokes a lot...would terrify youngsters today...they have been brainwashed to find 23,675 things as "socially unacceptable" by the Socialists...they will reform them into the robots they need to do their bidding. Personally, I think choice is a nice alternative to dogma. Don't like smoking--don't go/work at bar that welcomes it. It worked for a long time...but...the wheels of dictatorship creak ever closer to their goals...one need only watch the movie 1984...Orwell saw the future...he was right. Personally, I miss a sleazy bar and enjoying oneself with the folks that did not spend their waking hours sniffing everyone else's butt...
There are time when I was I had been born Marlene Dietrich.....
The one from 1955...the one with a nodding acquaintance to the novel...the newer version should have been sunk into the Atchafalaya Swamp...where it belongs--despite the great actors...
