I ate there the day it opened. It was alright, not much to brag about.

My wife and I have been there twice since it has opened and love it. For those of you worried about fried foods, they have a non-breaded version that passes the test with my personal trainer/dietician. Can anyone tell me what was in the space before Slim Chickens?

Did Norman have Popeyes? It seems like I remember one on Lindsey Street?

I just had friend who eat there yesterday and one of the employees stole her credit card information and rang up a bunch of charges around town.

Seems like there was back around 02-03 on E Lindsey or E Alameda. Someone over that way used to sell a real spicy chicken and I don't recall Express or Church's being located over that way going that far back. I'm thinking they went in late 07 or early 08ish

There have been a couple of things. I think there was something there short term. The original owner was Taco Johns.

I think Jason's Deli was the last demise there....

It's been vacant as long as I've lived here. Seems like there were still some signs up when we first moved here. I recall them saying something about wraps. I didn't realize there had ever been a Jason's Deli there. It seems awfully small for one of their locations.

Jason's Deli was never in the Slim Chicken's spot. It was a tea lunch kind of place last from what I remember.

This. You don't have to have your tenders fried. I got some grilled strips not too long ago and with their sauce, they were awesome. Love Slim Chickens!

Yep - only Jason's deli that has ever been in Edmond is still on 33rd. They seem to be really picky about expanding and seem to do well when they do.

The location used to be Taco Johns, followed by It's a Wrap; was vacant for a long time... I ate at Slim Chicken's not too long ago, it was very good - you can get everything there grilled with lots of options (wraps, salads, etc)
